James Beach
President
Since 1995, James has been active in the power industry, specializing in project development, structuring non-recourse debt financing, and acquisitions and divestitures. Much of his career has been spent in senior and mid-level development and project finance roles with two large U.S. independent power producers, and during his career he has led the development and financing efforts for more than thirty major non-recourse power transactions, and has closed transactions totaling nearly $7 billion and over 8,000MW. Since co-founding AEG in 2005, James has led the development efforts for several biomass gasification projects and a 500 MW coal-fired power project. James earned a B.S. in International Business and Marketing and a B.A. in Russian Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. James has extensive international experience, and is fluent in French and Russian. |
