Sydney McConathy
Manager of Project Finance
Sydney has worked in the power and renewable energy space, focusing primarily on biomass, waste to energy, and solar projects. Projects with Alpine Energy include a 33 MW and a 16 MW alternative energy facility being developed in the US Virgin Islands, and a small-scale biomass project based in Colorado, where she led the financing and local government negotiations. Prior to Alpine Energy, Sydney worked with the Clinton Foundation Climate Team, assessing the feasibility of large-scale solar thermal projects in India. She also spent two years in management consulting at the Parthenon Group, where she worked as a Senior Associate. Sydney holds an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and a B.A. in International Studies from Middlebury College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
