Alpine Energy Group Names New Manager of Project Finance

DENVER, September 29, 2009—Alpine Energy Group, a full-scale project development company serving the power and energy industries, announced today that Sydney Johnston has re-joined the firm as Manager of Project Finance. Ms. Johnston spent several months interning with AEG in the summer of 2009, leading the financing and local government negotiations for a small-scale biomass project based in Colorado. She left AEG to finish up her M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where she graduated this past spring.

"We are excited that Sydney chose to re-join AEG," said James Beach, President and CEO of Alpine Energy Group. "Her skill set, coupled with her passion for alternative and renewable projects, make her an excellent addition to our team."

Prior to her work with Alpine, Sydney interned with the Clinton Foundation Climate Team, assessing the feasibility of large scale solar thermal projects in India. She also spent two years in management consulting at the Parthenon Group, where she worked as a Senior Associate. In addition to her M.B.A., Sydney holds a B.A. in International Studies from Middlebury College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
